At InnerChange, we gather data from our programs, parents, and students to ensure that the work we do is of the highest quality. Our ongoing outcomes study continues to yield statistics that affirm the work we're doing with families. Some of our findings include:
92% of graduate parents would RECOMMEND their InnerChange program to others.
81% of students rate their overall SOCIAL FUNCTIONING as EXCELLENT even up to 9 months after discharge (Miller's ORS ).
Students IMPROVED their measure of psychological and EMOTIONAL HEALTH between admission and discharge, and the CHANGES WERE MAINTAINED at a 6 month follow up (BASIS -32).
90% of MOTHERS of graduating InnerChange students considered their families "HEALTHY".
70% of parents rate students as DOING WELL with the primary problem that got them into treatment, even up to 9 MONTHS AFTER discharge.
90% go to WORK OR SCHOOL after graduating.
74% of level 5 students NEVER RETURN to in patient treatment.
81% FINISHED their InnerChange program in ONE YEAR OR LESS.
96% of InnerChange graduates FINISH HIGH SCHOOL.
87% of students who attend InnerChange go on to WORK OR SCHOOL.
Depression in students SUBSTANTIALLY IMPROVED between admission and discharge (Beck's CDI ).
90% of students (attaining levels 4 or 5) RETURN HOME.
80% of students/families rate their therapist(s) as CARING and COMPETENT (Miller's SRS ).
85% of InnerChange students felt the program HELPED them whether they graduated or not.
97% of InnerChange employees would RECOMMEND their program to a friend FOR EMPLOYMENT.
* These statistics represent the entire sample of families and students interviewed to date. This sample is not currently inclusive of all programs, families, and students. InnerChange is, however, committed to making its outcome studies all-inclusive, and will continue to update these data on an ongoing basis as our outcomes project grows in scope.
