About Us
InnerChange provides educational, treatment, and recovery programs for adolescents and young adults experiencing emotional or behavioral difficulties. Our residential treatment and transitional living programs are clinically sophisticated and designed to facilitate whole-family healing. We are committed to restoring hope in the lives of those we serve.
Our mission for each young person in our care is simple: to provide a healing experience that sets them on a course for independence and lifelong success. To accomplish this mission, we hold to a few core beliefs that unite our family of treatment programs and inform every decision we make. Among these beliefs are:
Healing is a family process...
Our programs wrap support around the whole family to ensure that changes made in treatment endure. InnerChange programs provide the most robust set of family services in the treatment industry, including visits, family therapy, retreats, and extensive whole-family preparation for the young person’s transition back home or to independence.
The less time in treatment, the better...
We believe that families should spend as little time in treatment as is necessary to reap lasting change, so each of our programs is designed to be a final treatment stop, instead of the first of many. Many of today’s treatment programs are designed as one step in a two or three-step process. Whether an adolescent residential treatment center or young adult transitional program, all InnerChange programs are intended to function, whenever possible, as a complete solution. By providing robust assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transition services at each of or programs, many of the families in our care complete their healing process without the grief and expense of multiple placements.
Our families deserve proven, clinically sophisticated treatment...
We believe that the field of family and adolescent treatment is constantly evolving, so we hire licensed and experienced clinicians to employ leading-edge, research-supported treatment approaches. Our company-wide clinical leadership team engages in an ongoing collaborative process of clinical research, evaluation, and refinement so that we can provide you with the best care available anywhere.
